I Like My Ural Because…

- Who cares about speed? I’d rather just enjoy the ride
- Even a mechanical dunce like me can keep a Ural maintained and in good running condition
- It’s unique
- My fiancee, our dog and I all can ride comfortably together
- Who says you can’t haul things on a motorcycle? Excuse me while I run to the grocery store and the home improvement store…
- It’s a 2007, but looks like a 1937
Those are a few reasons why I love my 2007 Ural Patrol.
The Ural is the fastest and cheapest way to get on 3 wheels. Plus, it has reverse. I love my Tourist. I didn’t need/want the 2WD feature. Saved a few bucks, plus the tub looks better sitting lower on the cart frame.

I bought a 2004 Tourist yesterday. Geez, the first short ride in the rain was fun and, ahem, a bit wobbly. This is gonna be like learning to walk. Already have had a lady whip out her camera and one elderly lady requested a ride (after taming the beast, she was promised). Then the cage drivers grin at ya too …
This oddity replaces a Moto Guzzi LeMans. A change of pace.
