Soon a Patrol

Update on delivery of my Ural Patrol. I talked with Jim at Raceway Services today, and his crew is currently getting my rig together. Will know more soon, but am crossing my fingers for a delivery this weekend!

What accessories are you adding on?
Oh, that camera will be out in force, man! I’m thinking of getting a ton of snaps and maybe doing some posts on the walkthrough Jim’s guys do - we’ll see what shakes out.
Accessories-wise, I’m going pretty light to start out. Since it’s my first bike, I figured I can just add more on later. I’m just getting some mudguards (helpful in our northwet climate), a trunk lock and a cover for the spare tire.
Nothing exciting, I know, but it’s a start.
What accessories are you adding on to yours?
Mudguards and trunk lock, gonna have ‘em throw in the magnetic drain plugs all the way around, that’s probably it to begin with, but still researching.
I asked Jim to save the part of my crate that has the “Made in Russia” stencil on it. Gonna hang that in the garage!

Doesn’t look like delivery this weekend. It’s Saturday morning, and no update as of my morning coffee.
No worries though - I’m guessing it’ll be next weekend then.
