Ural Tool Kit - What Other Tools Should You Add?

Filed Under (Ural Repair and Maintenance) by Anthony StClair on 02-03-2008

A standard tool kit that comes with each Ural motorcycle. But that doesn’t mean it’s all you need. The guys in this ADV Rider discussion, Ural Tool Kit, have a few suggestions on what other tools to carry in your Ural trunk:

  • Hammer (also known as a BFH, or, “Big Fecking Hammer”)
  • Small jack
  • Some small blocks of wood
  • Duct tape
  • Flask of vodka (for disinfecting wounds, naturally)

Bill Glaser also has a breakdown, with pictures, of the Ural tool kit and some other tools he keeps with his rig.

What else do you keep with your Ural tool kit?

  1. I live in Calgary with a 2007 Gear-up. I viewed the pics of the tire change (Same rear one) and am still stumped. The dealer Scootgo I think closed and the new dealer is way out of town. I don’t seem to have a locking mechanism on the outside of the axle. I must be not understang the locking system.
    Thanks Tony.
