Who’s behind Ride Three?
Anthony St. Clair first learned about (and was hooked on) Ural motorcycles in 2006. He’d never owned a bike and had virtually no riding experience – so he figured he ought to get a Ural. What better way to begin one’s motorcycle adventures, than to get an esoteric Russian sidecar motorcycle with a long yet slightly dubious past, whose reknown is drawn in part from having a hunk of nearly-impossible-to-maneuver dead weight hanging off one side? Perfect for a novice.
After a year of research, knuckle-biting and even a little sidecar training, he (finally) bought a 2007 Ural Patrol. He’s currently After waiting for it to get from Siberia to his home in Eugene, Oregon, Anthony received his Patrol on Feb. 16, 2008. When not riding, Anthony is learning, talking with other nutters foilheads proud Ural motorcycle owners, and doing a bit of motorcycle accessory and apparel shopping.
